Communication & Staying Connected
Open communication is important to us. Families are welcome to speak with educators during drop-off and pick-up times, arrange a one-on-one meeting with the Centre Director, or email us at info@kidspire.ca. Updates and important information may also be shared through the app.
Supporting Positive Behaviour
Children develop social skills through guidance, consistency, and positive role modelling. At Kidspire, educators support behaviour using respectful, age-appropriate strategies that encourage cooperation, problem-solving, and self-regulation. Our focus is on teaching and supporting children, not punishment.
Sharing Updates & Concerns
Families will be informed if there are any concerns related to their child’s well-being, behaviour, or day at the centre. Communication may take place in person, through the HiMama app, or directly with the Centre Director. We value collaboration and transparency with families.
Attendance & Absences
Childcare spaces are staffed and maintained regardless of daily attendance. As a result, fees remain the same during absences related to illness, holidays, or family vacations.
Injuries & Incidents
Minor injuries can occur during play. Families are informed of any incidents involving their child, and documentation is completed when required. In the event of a serious injury, parents or guardians are contacted immediately.
Immunization Requirements
Children enrolled at Kidspire are required to be up to date with immunizations in accordance with Saskatchewan Health Authority guidelines. Families may be asked to provide immunization records as part of the enrollment process.
Waitlist & Unborn Children
Families may add an unborn child to the Kidspire waitlist at any time. Once the child is born, families can update birth details by contacting the centre at info@kidspire.ca. Early waitlist registration is encouraged due to limited availability.
Withdrawing from Care
If childcare is no longer required, families must provide one full calendar month of written notice, or payment of one month of unsubsidized fees in place of notice. Notice must be provided on or before the first day of the final month of care.
Registration & Payments
A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of enrollment to secure a childcare space. Parent portions and applicable fees may be paid by: E-transfer Direct deposit Online payment through the HiMama app
Subsidy Support & Fee Updates
Childcare subsidy eligibility and parent fee contributions are administered by the Government of Saskatchewan. Kidspire supports families by providing required documentation and guidance throughout the application process. Any changes to fees or subsidy-related adjustments will be communicated to families in writing, in accordance with provincial requirements.
Health & Illness Guidelines
To support a healthy environment, Kidspire follows provincial health guidelines. Children who show signs of illness—such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious conditions, or unexplained rashes—should remain at home. If a child becomes unwell while at the centre, families will be contacted to arrange pick-up. Children may return once they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication.
Tuition, Fees & Subsidy Information
Kidspire participates in Saskatchewan’s licensed childcare subsidy and fee reduction programs. Parent fees are determined in accordance with provincial guidelines and may vary based on eligibility, enrollment type, and program participation. Families may choose part-time or full-time enrollment options, subject to availability. Program options and fee details will be reviewed with families by the Centre Director.
